Many of you have asked about my video effects on my SingSnap recordings. I've decided to do a review for you on the pro's and con's of WebcamMax. Their web site offers a FREE one year license for writing a 400 word review and posting it on your index page if you happen to be a web master. On their web site, they state the following:
When can I get the FREE 1 Year License?

Once you posted the reviews of WebcamMax on your space, please send an email to support@webcammax.com including the review URL of your space. And you'll get the FREE 1 Year License right away!

With that said,
I was eager to test out their program. So I took the time to write a review and sent an email to support@webcammax.com
A week later, I still haven't received a reply from them. I emailed them twice, and I also posted my questions on their web site forum.
The only reply I have received on their forum is: "It's being looked into at the moment" THAT was two days ago
It is my own personal experience, that a program is only worth as much as the support they offer. If you are anything like me, you expect and want fairly quick replies from a support staff. So if "right away!" to them, means a full week with absolutely no return correspondence, I think I will pass on this particular program and not waste my time and/or money.
Their lack of attention on this matter, has caused me to be very skeptical of even paying for this program, which I was willing to do, had they given me a reason, as to why I might not have qualified for their FREE one year license offer. I refuse to use this program on any of my precious SingSnap recordings, because of their ugly watermark at the top of the video window. The only way to record a video without their watermark, is to send them your money and HOPE that they send you a license. If they don't, I guess you just wasted your money. Don't expect support to get back to you anytime soon. If you are a gambler, then by all means, Take Your Chances and send them your money.

As for Me, I will continue using my other cool cam programs for all of my special video effects.
